Use the appliance’s own instructions
Different appliances have different requirements for draining, securing moving parts and transport orientation. Refer to the manufacturer’s instructions and arrange any necessary qualified disconnection. Tell us about known weight and any restrictions on tilting. Do not assume one method suits every fridge or washing machine.
Separate transport from installation
Describe whether the appliance is freestanding, integrated or attached to surrounding furniture. It must be released and ready in the way agreed before collection. Gas, electrical and plumbing work are not automatically included. Plan reconnection with a suitable provider and keep any brackets, hoses or transit fittings identified for that appliance.
