Build the inventory around what is yours
A furnished tenancy can mean a smaller load, but bedroom count alone does not explain it. List your furniture, boxes, bags and any appliances you own. Keep the landlord’s items clearly separate from the removal list.
For a shared house, identify your room and any belongings in communal spaces. If a housemate is moving elsewhere, label their items separately and explain any additional collection or delivery address in the enquiry.
Connect check-out and check-in times
Write down the latest time you can leave the old property and the earliest time you can enter the new one. Ask the agent or landlord who will release the keys and whether appointments are fixed. A gap between the two times needs discussing before transport is booked.
For a Stratford town-centre flat, also check managed entrances, loading arrangements and any building moving hours. Access permission is separate from the transport booking. Tell us about changes to the handover as soon as you know.
Prepare the property and the carrying route
Set aside keys, paperwork and personal essentials so they remain with you. Finish the packing you have agreed to do, label the destination rooms and keep communal corridors clear. Arrange cleaning and the tenancy inspection separately from the removal.
If you need packing or furniture dismantling, request it in the form. The work, timing and any additional cost must be agreed. The enquiry does not include cleaning, tenancy advice or a promise about deposit deductions.
Request a quote before your date is final
You can use “Date to be confirmed” while the tenancy details are being settled. Give both full postcodes, a main-item list and anything that constrains the move. We can then review the scope with you.
Before treating the move as booked, confirm the date, vehicle, carrying help, agreed price and arrangements if key release is delayed. A submitted enquiry is not a reservation.
