Define the boundary of the packing work
Name the rooms or categories needing help, such as kitchen contents or ornaments, and estimate their quantity. Mark cupboards or personal belongings you will handle yourself. A request to “help with packing” is too broad to establish materials, time or the condition in which the rest of the load should be ready.
Agree materials and sequence
Confirm who supplies boxes, wrapping and tape, whether packing occurs before or on the moving day, and what happens to furniture awaiting preparation. Flag particularly fragile or valuable items for assessment. Packing suitability and charges must be agreed; selecting the option in the form is not a confirmed service booking.
Prepare a clear division of work
- List the exact contents to be packed by arrangement.
- Keep documents, medicines and valuables under your own control.
- Identify which self-packed boxes will be ready at collection.
