A quote for your actual household
Start with the furniture in each room and an approximate box count. Add the contents of the garage, loft, shed and garden if they are coming too. This is more useful than bedroom count alone and helps the quote reflect the load you actually need moved.
For a part-house move, list only the items that are leaving. Keep any sale, donation or separate collection clearly marked so it is not confused with the removal inventory.
Plan the route from door to vehicle
For a central Stratford address, describe the available loading position and the walk to your entrance. For a property outside the centre, mention narrow approaches, gates or shared drives. Supply the full postcode; a village or street name alone cannot explain the access.
Check large furniture against doorways and stair turns at both homes. If a bed or wardrobe needs dismantling, request it in advance so the preparation and cost can be discussed.
Moving around a key handover
If your move depends on completion or a tenancy handover, give the expected departure and entry times. Explain any uncertainty so the plan can account for it. A provisional enquiry is welcome, but a date is only reserved once a booking is confirmed.
