Separate the components on the inventory
A divan may have two bases and a separate headboard; an ottoman can include a heavier lifting mechanism. Give the dimensions of the largest rigid part and say whether the frame is assembled. Identify mattresses separately, including quantity and condition. This is a transport enquiry for usable belongings, not a mattress-disposal booking.
Keep the mattress and fittings protected
Agree suitable protective packaging before the day and keep surfaces clean and dry. Do not assume a mattress can be folded; check its instructions. Bag small fittings and label them for the correct frame. If you need the bed taken apart or reassembled, describe that work in the enquiry rather than leaving it until arrival.
Before collection is confirmed
- Check the route for the headboard and longest frame section.
- Confirm who prepares the bed and retains the fittings.
- Agree the receiving room and carrying help at delivery.
