Open the inventory beyond “garage contents”
Count boxes, shelving, bikes and tools separately, with dimensions and weights where known. Explain whether benches or racks are fixed to the building. Identify items remaining behind. An unexamined collection of containers does not give enough information for transport planning or an accurate scope.
Disclose contents that need another arrangement
Flag fuels, gas cylinders, paints, chemicals, sharp equipment and powered machinery before booking. Do not pack them unseen into mixed boxes. Transport capability and exclusions must be confirmed, and some items may be declined. Arrange unwanted materials and waste disposal separately from the removal.
Prepare the agreed garage load
- Secure ordinary loose components in suitable, labelled packaging.
- Identify what has been approved for transport.
- Keep the carrying path and garage entrance accessible.
